My work over the past several years has focused on the
way ideas and memories move through us as we journey through
this life, and the ultimate surrender of those personal experiences to
time. I've based this body of work on the idea of thresholds, events
that present a passage from our common perceptions to a sense of the
overlapping of individual and collective memory. The
experiences I've had at ancient sites in Ireland play a
key role in this body of paintings.
